Mission Statement

The Marshall County Public Library system was established for the purpose of providing books and other resources and services that will meet the educational, cultural, and recreational interests and needs of the residents of the area served by the Library. The goal of the Library is the maximum and equitable use of its collection and services by the greatest number of Marshall County citizens. The Library constantly strives to maintain the democratic principles of our American heritage. It feels a deep responsibility under the Federal Constitution to promote the broad dissemination of ideas upon which a democracy thrives.
